First off the dinner went real well, thanks to everyone who helped out there are too many people to thank but you all know who you are, check out divinedining610.com they did a great job with the whole dinner. We got an added bonus Nat came by with a 3D TV so people could check out his video Every Second Counts. I was definitely impressed and thought the 3D stuff came off really well. You dont need a 3D TV to watch the DVD, a blu ray player plays it in normal HD 2D, but to get the full effect you need a 3D TV and 3D blu ray player. Go here to buy a copy just the catty section alone and the section on the blind mountain bike rider is worth the price even if you dont have a 3D setup. Eric Bugbee showed the intro to his movie as well which is now officially called Heroes of Dirt, and hopefully will be released this summer. One last thing, check out exclusive bmx which is Duece’s site, I uploaded Brian Foster’s section from Save the Woods so you can watch it exclusively there.

Penn skate jam was pretty good thanks to Penn skate once again for letting us do it. Here are a couple pics below.

We need a head count of people coming so the right amount of food is ordered, you cant just show up at the dinner and expect to eat. We also got a projector so will be playing bmx videos….

This winter has been a strange one so far, constant temperature changes are bad even if it means we have been getting 50 degree days in January. The thawing and freezing is killing the jumps. I never seen them this bad, and winter isnt even over and who knows what will happen if we get snow. The cement berms are not faring to well, even with metal in them as you can tell in the pictures. The constant moving of the dirt from freeze thaw is just popping the cement off. I guess if we used more stone and less dirt it would be different but you never know, its just one big experiment. Anyway dont forget the penn skate jam this weekend and benefit dinner next weekend. thanks to everyone…

Oldies but goodies

Here is the flyer below for the upcoming penn skate jam, should be fun something different with prizes awarded, price is 12 dollars to ride and you dont have to enter the contest.
