update

Here is the latest flyer for the Halloween jam with all the sponsors on it big thanks to them for helping out. Spread the word, post the flyer everywhere..

As for the jam everyone has to pay 5 bucks it gets you into the contests for the day where you can win stuff for best costume, fastest lap thru 79, and longest lap thru westside. We have had too many jams where dudes just show up ride, don’t give any money or fill out the waiver. We hate to be more strict but at least during the jams we can try to make some money for the trails. Its the only time we ask people to give money to the trails, we don’t want to have to turn into a skate park that charges you every time you have to ride. Now everyone can talk shit about this now, but whatever I’m sick of defending ourselves you wanna see the huge legal and insurance bills for proof just ask and will show. Check out Dirtsculpt site for updates on new builds and stuff going on.

A couple things to go over quick. There is a lot of talk about media bans at trails which I totally understand, some trails don’t want the exposure stuff like that or other weird reasons. With our huge insurance bills we need all the money we can get, there have been too many times now where a company comes thru films an edit and we don’t see any money from it, bike parts, etc. I know dam well they get money from it from ad revenue, web videos make money (sometimes a lot depending on views) whether people like to admit it or not. Were not asking for huge amounts of money every time a team comes thru to film or someone is shooting photos for an ad or whatever. Out of respect for the trails and all the hard work we do, I don’t think its too much for a company to give a little money or even some bike parts we can raffle off at a jam or even sell to help with the costs. Now with that all explained everyone is welcome to come ride the trails we are not trying to scare people away but I think its funny when I hear stories of a team that wants to come ride trails but when they cant film they wont even at least ride. We are trying to work with companies and want to help each other out. Sponsoring the trails can really make things easier for the trails to live on, we are a nonprofit organization and if you want to help out email us. Big thanks to Mike Gentilcore who has been working his ass off with the legal side of things and tons of paperwork. Stay tuned for more updates and dont forgot the Halloween jam will be fast approaching. enjoy the autumn sessions…

it’s halloween boys

Here is the flyer for the jam on October 20th, or it can be on the 21st depends on the weather, last year it snowed on Halloween so lets hope the weather is good and we can pull off a rad jam. Any other companies wanna sponsor it just let us know. More details on the jam as we get closer to the date. Spread the word and keep checking the site. Jam was so good before the rain got heavy, everything was blue grooving with the light rain mist. Looks like October 20th for a Halloween jam, that could change with weather but will finalize some things for that soon and have a proper jam with giveaways and contests etc. We got some vandals at the woods lately if anyone knows anything about that, they will be rewarded. They let all the water out the water tanks we have, tried to steal the steps to the roll in, took all the tarp stakes, pretty shitty stuff actually. I think they are trying to scrap all the metal we have, prolly some sketchy old dudes or some shit, might have to scope out the scrap yards around here for our stuff. Stay tuned for some good news coming thou…
